Zrnce is a small specialty coffee shop in Dorćol, at Bulevar despota Stefana 83. Coffee from freshly roasted beans, matcha, iced drinks and a display of homemade cakes, in a room built for staying longer than one cup. Open every day until 8 pm.
Bulevar despota Stefana is the main street of upper Dorćol and we are at number 83, in the row of buildings along the boulevard itself. Skadarlija, Trg republike and Kalemegdan are a few minutes on foot, so Zrnce works both as a stop while you walk the old part of the city and as a coffee on the way. Trams and buses run along the boulevard and the stop is right next to us. If you arrive by car, the surrounding streets have metered street parking.

The coffee is made once you order, so you leave with a hot cup in hand, and everything in the display travels too. What survives the walk is on the coffee to go page. The map and all contact details are on the location page.
The difference from an ordinary cafe is in the bean and in the preparation. Our coffee arrives freshly roasted, it is ground right before brewing, and the dose and extraction time are measured, so the cup tastes of the bean rather than only of the roast. Next to espresso there is filter: batch brew, V60 and cold brew, three ways to make the same bean sound different. If you do not drink coffee there is matcha, and if you arrive with children there is babyccino.
