Zrnce is a specialty coffee shop in Dorćol, at Bulevar despota Stefana 83. We brew freshly roasted beans on the espresso machine and by hand through a filter. Espresso, flat white, cortado, batch brew, V60 and cold brew, with dairy or plant milk, every day until 8 pm.
Specialty coffee is coffee whose origin and roast date are known. It is roasted lighter than commodity coffee so the cup tastes of where it came from rather than only of the roast. That is why specialty rarely goes bitter or burnt and more often lands on fruit, flowers or chocolate. The other half is preparation: a measured dose, grinding right before brewing, and control over extraction time. Without that, even the best bean stays unused.
Prices in dinars, single and doppio. Plant milk on request: coconut or oat (+80 RSD), almond or soy (+50 RSD).

If filter coffee is new to you, start with the batch brew. It is already brewed, so you get it at once.

Next to the house espresso, the menu carries an espresso made with an Ethiopian bean. Ethiopia is where coffee comes from, and its beans are most often recognised in the cup by floral and fruity notes, brighter and more acidic than what Turkish coffee has taught us to expect. If specialty coffee is new to you, order it alongside the classic espresso and the difference shows immediately.
An affogato is espresso poured over ice cream, and an espresso tonic is that same coffee over tonic and ice. Both are on the menu all year.

Any milk drink can be made plant based: coconut or oat milk (+80 RSD), almond or soy (+50 RSD). If you like it sweeter, a flavour shot is +50 RSD: vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, coconut, pistachio, pumpkin spice or choco cookie. Decaf is on the menu too, for the late afternoon when caffeine is no longer an option.
Coffee with a known origin and roast date, roasted lighter so the origin comes through, and prepared with a measured dose, fresh grinding and controlled extraction.
Espresso is short and concentrated, filter coffee is cleaner, lighter and lasts longer. The same beans reveal more fruit and floral notes through a filter than in espresso.
Filter coffee brewed in a larger batch and ready to pour. Ours is 280 RSD, or 350 RSD for the larger cup.
A hand pour over a paper filter in a V shaped dripper, one cup at a time. Ours is 350 RSD.
Coffee extracted with cold water over several hours. Soft, sweet and almost without acidity. Ours is 350 RSD.
A flat white is a double espresso with smooth microfoam in a small cup. A cortado is espresso and warm milk close to one to one, so it is smaller and stronger than a cappuccino.
Espresso is 210 RSD, cappuccino 240 RSD, flat white 290 RSD and filter coffee from 280 RSD. All prices are on the menu.
Yes. Decaf is on the menu, and any milk drink can be made with coconut, oat, almond or soy milk.
